"Sorry... I try to be strong, but it's scary sometimes. I don't mind helping the ghosts, but it's just..."

Akria pauses for a few moments. "I've gotten hurt before, trying to help them. Sometimes bad enough to have to go to the doctor, though nothing ever really serious. ... But if I don't help them, who will?"

Akira nods, and pulls his face away, just resting against Thanatos now.

"I try. I carry a first aid kit with me, but I just..."

He closes his eyes. "I can't help it. I can't just ignore them. Even if I wanted to, I can't help but see them. And ignoring someone in pain is just..." He trails off and sighs.

"S-so um..." Akira seems to be talking into his chest again. "Sorry. If I wake you or Hypnos at night. I just... stupid nightmares..."

... Ffft. Thanatos pushed one of Akira's few angry buttons. He squeezes his eyes shut tightly and tries to calm himself down, but twitches a little.

"Just because I'm a kid doesn't mean I can't do things or take care of myself."
